Shop repair & field service

Flare, stack, and thermal oxidizer welding and repair

Flare, stack, and thermal oxidizer welding, plus slug-catcher support, flange repair, and inspection — shop components and field crews.

Flare, stack, and thermal oxidizer welding

Flare, stack, and thermal oxidizer welding is shop fabrication plus field service. Crews repair flares on site, repair flanges, and support flare inspection, along with the piping and structural steel that typically sits under a flare.

Because Grazco, LLC welds, fabricates, and installs, a flare repair does not have to be split between a shop and a separate erection contractor.

Slug catchers, carbon steel, and stainless

Slug-catcher welding sits next to flare work when the production package includes both. Carbon steel is the usual material. Stainless field and shop work is quoted when the service demands it — see stainless steel fabrication.

The crew that sets the steel and makes the tie-in welds is the field installation crew. Process piping into the stack or oxidizer is mechanical piping.
