Duplex and specialty alloy pipe welding
Duplex and specialty alloy pipe welding is a different procedure from carbon or 316, and Grazco, LLC quotes it that way. Hastelloy C276 welding of ASME process piping and vessels, duplex pipe, and other nickel alloys is done in the Houston shop and, when the piece cannot move, in the field.
Custom copper bus bars and copper-nickel pipe and plate welding sit in the same alloy conversation. Cu-Ni piping, copper plate, and bus bar joints are fit and welded to the customer's procedure, not treated as a stainless job with a different filler.
Fittings and where alloy work meets the rest of the shop
Custom laterals and Y fittings in duplex, stainless, and carbon steel are built with the spool when a catalog fitting will not fit the layout. Stainless that is not a specialty grade stays on the stainless steel fabrication page.
Process lines are laid out under mechanical piping. Vessel nozzles in alloy materials are pressure vessel fabrication. The weld process itself is TIG and GTAW.
